My name is Ashley Quinn. I am an Aspiring Entrepreneur with residence in Sydney, Australia. This blog serves two purposes. (1). It’s an outlet for my thoughts, inspirations and inquiries, (2). It chronicles my journey as I start my first company.
The two words that describe me perfectly are dynamic and curious.
I am positive in attitude and full of energy as many of my friends will attest to. I was graced (some may disagree!), from a very early age, with a mind that that teems with new ideas I think will change the world. I guess you could say I’m an idealist.
I have always been inquisitive and curious about the people and things that surround and influence me. This curiosity often begets many unanswered questions. This often leads to further inquiry and more questions. It’s this process that drives my pursuit for information and probably too my fascination with science, technology and philosophy.
I am the founder of Genople, a startup that is changing the way adults approach and learn about online technology. Our first project is based around using Facebook; We want everybody and anybody to be able to use and understand Facebook.
I have a strange addiction to talkback radio especially anything broadcast by the BBC or ABC. I have a Bachelors Degree in Physiology, and have also studied Pharmacy, Software Engineering and Quantity Surveying. I love swimming, running and cycling. My passions include public speaking, technology, Facebook, ABC radio, jazz and ribs. My daily indulgence is coffee.
I use this blog as a way to chronicle my journey, my experiences, my ideas, as I start my first company. Please feel free to contact me with comments, suggestions or ideas at Twitter or by Email. Ocassionally I post articles at Medium.
If you bump into me on the street — say hi — I’m very friendly and approachable.
